Balloon Backdrop Training Class (Oct 4th & 5th)
Get ready for a weekend of inspiration and sophistication where you will learn easy balloon decorating techniques that will encourage you to ignite your imagination and follow your passion!
This will be an IN-PERSON balloon decorating class where you will create balloon decorations and get hands-on experience with decorating events for clients.
Who should take this class? Anyone with more than 2 years of balloon decorating experience. This class is also recommended to anyone that has already taken one of my online or in-person decorating classes. If you do NOT have this experience or if you have NOT taken one of my decorating classes, I would recommend signing up for the beginner’s class.
Day 1 Schedule:
In the morning, I’ll start by creating a balloon backdrop so we can review my process and techniques. We will cover:
My balloon inflation techniques: blowing up the balloons, achieving the best shape, and utilizing different sizes.
My balloon garland techniques: connecting the balloons, attaching balloons to the backdrop, and arranging the balloons to achieve the best shape.
My balloon shaping techniques: designing the balloons to get a sophisticated, professional look and adding final touches.
In the afternoon, everyone will have the opportunity create a balloon backdrop of their own (with my help!). We will work to create balloon backdrops together so you can incorporate my balloon decorating tips and tricks.
Day 2 Schedule:
Get ready for a “mock” event! I want you to get hands-on experience preparing for and setting up an event. We are going to cover the following:
Best practices for prepping and packing balloon decorations before an event.
How to loading and unload decorations into a UHaul van or truck.
Setting up an event from start to finish (you will be given a time limit!)
After we set up the “mock” event, we’ll have a mini photoshoot so you can take pictures with your event decorations. At the end of the class, you will receive a certificate of completion and a token of my appreciation!
