Who should take this class?
This class is recommended to anyone that has already mastered the basic balloon decorations e.g., balloon columns, mini balloon garlands, and balloon bouquets. If you have NOT mastered these decorations, I would recommend signing up for the beginner’s class.
This class is also recommended to anyone with balloon backdrop experience looking to get advice on how to improve their work. You will have the opportunity to send me pictures of your balloon backdrops and receive instant feedback.
What balloon decorations are we going to cover? Glad you asked!
Round Balloon Backdrop Displays: So many people struggle with creating a balloon backdrop using a round stand. Either they add too many balloons or not enough balloons. We are going to cover how to create a round backdrop with the PERFECT shape.
Balloon Backdrop With Arch Panels: These backdrops are sooooo popular right now. You can use thewooden or metal panels. In this class, we’re going to cover how to design, create, and customize these panels to create beautiful backdrops for your events.
Shimmer Wall Backdrops: One of my most popular backdrops for birthday parties and graduation celebrations! We’re going to cover how to create different sized shimmer wall backdrops (mini, mixed, and large) so you can give your clients multiple options.
This is a hands-on class. Please come prepared to learn and then APPLYwhat you’ve learned by creating balloon decorations on your own. I want you to get experience, not just watch the Zoom videos.
AT THE END OF THIS CLASS, YOU WILL RECEIVE A CERTIFICATE OF COMPLETION, IF YOU COMPLETE ALL OF THE HOMEWORK AND EXERCISES.
When are the classes held? The weekly calls will be held via Zoom. We will rotate between meeting on Thursdays at 7pm EST and on Saturday (or Sunday) around 3pm EST. A final schedule will be provided prior to the class but please be flexible.
What if you miss one of the weekly classes? If you miss a class, don't worry! Each class will be recorded. You will be able to watch the recording after each class at your own convenience.
What do I need for this class? At a minimum, you will need a balloon pump, balloons, and balloon stands. A full list of materials will be provided once you sign up for the class, so please sign up EARLY!
What happens after I sign up for the class? Once you pay for the class, you will receive an automated email confirmation. Your order will say “pending”. That’s just a status that my website provides. Don’t worry. I will mark your order as complete once the 8-week class over.
When will I receive the Zoom link for the class: The Zoom information will be sent a week prior to the class start date. I will send the Zoom information to the email address provided during the checkout process.
